Makeup essentials for a road trip

A travel makeup bag should be compact yet ready for any situation. That’s why I always choose the most versatile and multi-purpose products that meet all my makeup needs without taking up too much space in my travel suitcase.

  • Blush - I always start with blush — I love the fresh, healthy glow it gives. The more, the better! I keep two options in my makeup bag: Hourglass (Craft) and YSL (66), choosing the shade based on my mood. I apply it not only on my cheeks but also on my nose and eyelids.

  • Sculptor - I use MAC (Harmony) bronzer to softly define my cheekbones. I also sweep it over the upper and lower crease of my eyelids for added depth.

  • Foundation - Dior Backstage (1C) is my go-to. It’s lightweight, long-lasting, and invisible on the skin. During the day, I use it as a concealer under my eyes, and for a full makeup look, I apply it all over my face. I even layer it over blush to create a natural flush effect. I blend everything with a brush for a seamless finish.

  • Eyelash curler - I don’t wear mascara since my lashes are naturally long and dark. A quick curl is all I need to open up my eyes.

  • Lip pencil - Make Up Forever (608) is my favorite. I outline my lower lip, fill in the cupid’s bow on the upper lip, and blend it out. Then I use the same blush I applied to my face, dabbing it onto my lips with a brush and blending it in.

And that’s it! You’re fresh and glowing with minimal effort. You’re welcome. 😉
